Portrait of Faith

The idea of one who is solid in belief –“Poem I Believe”

I still believe
Take the dreams from a child,
And its my dreams you’ll take.
Take the riches from the earth,
And its my land you rape

You can miss-use, confuse me,
Deny and deceive,
Torture or wound me,
But still I believe.

You can throw from the skies,
Some almighty flood.
Shake the ground from beneath me,
Or weaken my blood.

You can miss-use, confuse me,
Deny and deceive,
Torture or wound me,
But still I believe.

Still I Believe
I still believe.
