A wish for a quiet Heaven and harmony
Pale Wings of Peace
Tongues untouched by hatred,
Colours without names,
Countries without borders.
Compassion without shame.
I saw children without hunger,
Saw the wounded healed. .
Upon the breeze I saw a sailing,
The pale wings of peace.
Justice without prejudice,
Nooses without necks.
Shackles without ankles,
Oceans without wrecks.
I saw cripples without mockery,
Saw beauty slay the beast
Upon the breeze I saw a sailing,
The pale wings of peace.
Religion without ridicule,
Leaders without laws.
Mothers without mourning,
Soldiers without wars.
Saw gays without persecution,
Saw the bound set free.
Upon the breeze I saw a sailing,
The pale wings of peace.
